Our Senior Behavioral Health Unit serves those 65 and older, as well as younger adults who may have early onset Alzheimer’s or dementia or other disorders common in seniors. The unit is specially designed to provide a safe and secure environment that is also attractive, comfortable and full of natural light.

With semi-private and private rooms and bright, tastefully decorated community recreational areas with television and other activities, it’s inpatient care that doesn’t feel like a hospital.

Pallavi Rath, MD
Dr. Rath is double board-certified in adult and geriatric psychiatry. She serves as the Clinical Director of the Senior Behavioral Health Unit at Bristol Hospital. She completed her geriatric psychiatry fellowship training at the University of Connecticut, performed her residency at Central Michigan University and received her medical degree from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in Chennai, India.
